Concertino on Santa Cecilia's Eve
Saturday, November 19, 2016 - Musical evening commemorating St. Cecilia - Fondazzjoni Santa Ċeċilja A.D.2013 in collaboration with Wirt Ghawdex - 'Concertino on Santa Cecilia's Eve - 2nd edition'- starting at 7:30pm. The evening will have the Santa Ċeċilja choir accompanied by violin and accordion under the musical direction of Mro. Antoine Mercieca. Entrance is free. Please note that reservation for seats can be done on fondazzjonisantaceciljagozo@gmail.com (and not through Wirt Ghawdex). Booking opens on Wednesday, October 19, 2016.
This concert is part of a larger event consisting of a festival of three musical/cultural events connected to Saint Cecilia and Christmas festivities. The first concert is the one at the chapel as stated above with the other two taking place on different dates ending on December 30/16. More exact details of the other two concerts will be given at the November 19 concert.
